On the second floor is the master bedroom with a king bed and attached master bath. With a very comfortable and open floor plan, track lighting, ceiling fans and a wood-burning fireplace, this property is ideal for dining and entertaining. (Parents or legal guardians must sign for all persons under eighteen (18) years of age.Besides being situated on a private road and being a short distance from beautiful parks, waterways and other amenities, this property will provide for a nice getaway with all the comforts of home. The terms of this agreement shall serve as a release and indemnity agreement for your heirs, personal representative, and for all members of your family, including any minors. If you are signing on behalf of a minor, you further agree to HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY Hike It Florida and its employees, members, agents, and or volunteers from all liability, claims and causes of action which the minor may have arising from the minor’s participation in activities. You personally assume all risks in connection with these activities. This includes but is not limited to all liability claims and causes of action in any way connected to property owned or leased by Hike It Florida, or the actions or inactions of any Hike It Florida employees, members, agents, and or volunteers. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to locate the group and get signed in. The group will be meeting at the picnic area near the nature center. You must sign up for this event in advance and bring the ticket that is emailed upon registration. This is a back-country trail that has some uneven terrain and narrow paths.įor the comfort and enjoyment of all of our guests and for your pets safety, we ask that pets not be brought along on our trips. This will be a hike for all the senses, not just sight, so we will walk quietly. The sun will be setting, so we will be looking and listening for the marvelous sights and sounds of dusk in the woods! Birds returning home to roost, crickets and frogs croaking and chirping, mystery animals calling in the distance. This hike will take you through several of Florida’s diverse ecosystems such as pine flat woods, prairies and hardwood hammocks. We are offering a 3 or a 6-mile loop (don’t worry, we won’t just leave you out there). Join us on a Night Hike at Oscar Scherer State Park! The weather will be perfect, the sky’s will be bright which sets the stage for a wonderful hike.
